Staff I Civil/Geotechnical Engineer – Fort Collins, Colorado 

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering and MS in Geotechnical Engineering
  • 0-4 years of experience

Duties include:

  • Supporting senior staff for mine closure, water resources, and infrastructure projects.
  • Performance of geotechnical field investigations,
  • Installing and monitoring instrumentation,
  • Civil and geotechnical design and layout, and
  • Construction management/inspection is anticipated.

Analyses capabilities include:

  • Slope stability, infiltration/seepage, deformation analyses, geo-civil analysis and design.

Position requires a high level of written and oral communication skills.  Position requires travel to provide on-site engineering observation and construction oversight services up to 25% of time.


Senior Staff Engineer - Dams and Reservoir Design - Fort Collins, Colorado

Requirements:

  • B.S., or M.S.  in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Hydraulic, Hydrologic, Geotechnical or Structural Engineering
  • 5-10 years experience in dams and reservoir design
  • Must be licensed Professional Engineer or be able to obtain Colorado PE within 6 months of hire.  Wyoming, New Mexico, California and Texas licenses a plus
  • Assist in business development and proposal preparation
  • Experience in the following areas:

~Engineering design, dam safety inspections
~Project management
~Construction management/inspection

Job Description
